Calah graduated from the FAMU with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism.

While attending FAMU, Calah was a radio personality for the WANM-FM 90.5 The Flava Station. She also served as a producer for FAMUTV-20 and a staff writer for the FAMUAN.

When Calah is not at work, she enjoys volunteering at her church, she serves on Tallahassee's Night to Shine board and the local chapter for Relay for Life.
