Take a look at the renovations underway at Gateway Pet Guardians in East St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Gateway Pet Guardians in East St. Louis is undergoing renovations.
In partnership with Greater Good Charities, the shelter tells First Alert 4 that the new space will help them continue their mission to keep pets and owners together.
The renovation includes new walls and doors to create three dedicated pet retreats for temporary housing.
There will also be a visitation room and spaces for cats, including cat shelves and scratchers.
