Tonight: Watch for rain and some thunder southwest/West of the St. Louis metro this evening. A shower may sneak into the metro later this evening but then more widespread rain arrives overnight.
Friday: Scattered showers can be expected for the morning drive with some heavier downpours developing later in the day. In the afternoon to early evening keep an eye on radar so you don’t get caught in a quick downpour. It will be very humid and that tropical humidity can help make for brief downpours, though severe weather is not expected.

This Weekend: Weekend rain chances have trended down, but we still have a chance for some rain. Saturday is down to a 30% chance for a thundershower. Sunday is down to 20% and trending towards mainly dry. As we gain confidence in that we will pull the rain chance if this trend continues. But expect the weekend to be warm and very humid. This will be our first bout this year with some extended days of steamy humidity starting Friday and lasting through the weekend.
