A memorial honoring the lives impacted by the 2022 shooting at Central Visual and Performing Arts Center was unveiled Tuesday.

ST. LOUIS (First Alert 4) -- A memorial honoring the lives impacted by the 2022 shooting at Central Visual and Performing Arts Center was unveiled Tuesday.

Students Jovi Vaughn and Micajah Carr designed the mural along with CVPA art teacher Evan Wagman. Vaughn and Carr were freshmen when the shooting happened.

Student Alexzandria Bell and teacher Jean Kuczka were killed in the shooting by a former student on Oct. 24, 2022.
