Over 50 buildings damaged by possible tornado near De Soto

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A possible tornado touched down south of De Soto Saturday, causing damage to 53 buildings, according to first responders.
According to De Soto Rural Fire Protection District Chief Tom Fitzgerald, 53 buildings were damaged, with 12 being severely damaged. Fitzgerald said most of the damage was on Big River Heights and Wilson Hollow.
Fitzgerald said no injuries had been reported.
The National Weather Service will be out on Sunday surveying the damage.
