Sunday is a First Alert Weather Day: It is questionable as to whether storms will be able to develop Sunday, but if they do, there are some signs that they could be strong to severe, producing large hail and damaging winds. Timing for these look to be after 5pm. Much of the day prior to this will be sunny and warmer. We’ll keep a close eye on the storm potential and bring you updates as new data becomes available. Despite the uncertainty, we want you to be plugged in this weekend. Severe weather is more likely in the threat level 2/5 zone, with some weakening expected as storms move east.

Monday Through Wednesday: Finally, a break in the active weather pattern! We’re looking forward to lower humidity and more sunshine as upper-level high pressure keeps the pattern calmer for a few days. Unfortunately, this break won’t last long. We’re seeing chances for showers and storms beginning on Thursday and continuing into next weekend.
