Beloved Disney World attraction Muppet Vision 3D is closing down

ORLANDO, Fla. (CNN) - It’s the end of an era at Walt Disney World in Florida.
Muppet Vision 3D is closing down for good this weekend after operating for 34 years at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The attraction was Jim Henson’s last project he worked on before he died in 1990.
It featured a 3D movie along with live special effects and animatronics.
Disney said the area will be redeveloped into a new Monsters, Inc.-themed land.
As far as the Muppets go, they won’t be going very far. Disney previously announced they’ll be part of a rethemed roller coaster.
