Woman charged after shooting, injuring two people in Jennings
JENNINGS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Two women were wounded in a shooting after a fight broke out in a park in Jennings Friday afternoon, police tell First Alert 4.
On Tuesday, Imani Easley, 23, of St. Louis, was charged with assault, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.
The shooting happened at 6:05 p.m. at 2635 Shannon Ave.
Police say two women were breaking up a fight between two others. Easley then pulled a ‘glock-style’ pistol and pointed it at both of them. She fired and struck one of them in the arm, and then fired again and hit the other in the chest.
Both women were rushed to the hospital to receive medical treatment. The woman shot in the chest is currently in critical condition.
Police say the whole incident was captured on Facebook video, which officers watched before taking Easley into custody.
St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives are handling this investigation.
Easley is being held on $500,000 cash only, no 10% bond.
