ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -A 3D printer has become a hot spot at a Lincoln County school.

Boone Elementary School in the Lincoln County School District has a new 3D printer, thanks to a donation by Toyota Missouri. It started with a mission to make tools to help a visually impaired student communicate with others.

Blocks that each represented a word so students could make sentences were created first. Then, they went a step further and donated two 3D printers to two STEM classrooms. Now, they are providing a grant to the school district for $350,000 to put 3D printers in every school.
