Mock marriage helps St. Charles students learn letters

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A mock marriage is helping students at Harris Elementary in St. Charles learn their letters.
Superintendent Jason Seifert played the role of the letter Q, and Principal Michelle Whitrock played the role of the letter U in the marriage to help kindergartners learn their letters.
“It’s about fun and learning and watching these kids learn new concepts every day, and I love being a part of it,” said Superintendent Seifert.
The school teaches a resource called foundations, which, at the end of the day, celebrates Q and U as best friends in the English language.
