According to a release, police received a report of a body found near the 700 block of Horn Avenue in the evening hours of November 14, 2024.

The body was identified 16-year-old Logan Snyder.

Following an investigation, police say Tullis III and another person went to meet Snyder that day. When they arrived, Snyder was pushed to the ground and shot by the suspects.

They then went through Snyder’s pockets and took some of his things before walking away. He died as a result of his injuries soon after.

St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives are handling this investigation.

The Hancock Place School District said Snyder was a high school student. The district said it has a Crisis Intervention Team trained to help students, parents, and school personnel in tragic times. The district will also offer counseling services in each of its buildings.

A GoFundMe has been created by Snyder’s family to help pay for funeral expenses.

Tullis III is being held on a $1 million, cash-only bond.
