(InvestigateTV) — Breastfeeding has many health benefits for babies and their mothers.

The U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommends infants are exclusively breastfed for the first six months.

However, as many moms know, it’s not so easy. Up to 60% of mothers don’t breastfeed as long as they intend to.

Latching and lactation are among the top reasons.

A South Carolina woman who faced challenges of her own is sharing her journey in hopes other moms won’t feel so alone.
